Dr. Benjamin Salameh

ORAL AND MAXILLOFACIAL SURGEON

Dr. Salameh grew up in Chicago, Illinois, and is excited to join Community Oral Facial Surgery as part of the team, bringing his surgical training and patient-focused approach to the community. He earned his Bachelor of Science from the University of Illinois at Chicago, followed by his Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry.

Dr. Salameh then relocated to New Orleans to pursue advanced surgical training at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center (LSUHSC), where he earned his Doctor of Medicine, completed a General Surgery Internship, and finished his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency. Dr. Salameh pursued oral and maxillofacial surgery because of his interest in advanced surgical procedures and his passion for solving challenging clinical scenarios.

He is a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and the American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, bringing him into the wider community of specialists dedicated to advancing patient care in the field.

In his spare time, Dr. Salameh stays active through weightlifting and fishing, and enjoys the meditative hobby of keeping aquariums.
